+Is there a way to make reservation outside the internet?

+I would like to cancel on the day of my scheduled arrival. Will the cancellation fee be charged?

Yes, 100% of the total fee will be charged.

+When will there be a cancellation fee?

In principle, 100% cancellation fee will be charged 7 days prior to your stay.
Please contact us as it may vary depending on some guest houses.

+What's the age to be counted as one person?

It is free for guests up to 3 years old. Generally, fee per person will be charged if bedding and other amenities are prepared.

Check-In /Check-out

+How do I check in?

Prior to and as you are arriving in Kyoto, please contact the staff. Out staff will meet you at the front door according to the arrival time.

+Late checkout?

We are very sorry but as we need to clean and prepare for the next guest, there will be additional fees for late checkout. Please checkout on time.

+Can I mail in my luggage before I check in?

You may mail your luggage to our office. As we have many guesthouses, please also include the following information.
1) Full name
2) Check-in and Check-out dates
3) The name of the guesthouse you will be staying at.

+The check-in time is 15:00. Can I store my luggage before that?

You may leave it at the guesthouse after 12, but please note that cleaning may not be finished before 15:00.
You are also welcome to leave your luggage at our office near Kyoto station.
The office opening hours is 9 am – 10 pm.
You may also leave your luggage with us after check-out.

+Self check-in?

Some of our guesthouses don’t have keys, or the instructions are relatively simple. You may have the option to check-in yourself. When payment has been confirmed, we will send you the instructions for self-check-in. Please contact us for more details.

About Payment

+How do you make the payment?

We accept both cash and credit card.
If you give us your email address in advance, we can also send you a claim of payment. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

About Access

+How do I get to the guesthouse?

Once you have made the reservation, we will send you a guidebook with transportation direction – including bus, train and taxi directions.
And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

About The Room

+Can I smoke?

There is no smoking inside the guesthouse, but some of our guesthouses have smoking space.
Please check the information of each facility.

+If there is something wrong, where can I get help?

Please contact ISTA.

+Is there Wi-Fi at the guesthouse?

We provide free Wi-Fi in all of our guesthouses. However, this service and portable Wi-Fi router requires reservation for some of the guesthouses.
