We enjoyed the stay here. Comfortable for 6 people. Good and quite place to stay in. The house is clean. The living room floor has a heater underground, warming our feet. It’s very sweet to have as outside is cold during our stay.
Everything about this home is incredible. The best part besides the comfortable beds? The shower and tub!! The home is modern, however still has a hint of tradition. It’s very close to the train station as well as a grocery store and Korean BBQ style restaurant (can’t remember the name). Check in and check out was super easy and everything from the heater/air conditioning unit to the TV come with English, Chinese, and Korean instructions. They even have a guide on how local bath houses work. I highly recommend this home.
We loved our stay in this Air BnB! It felt so homely. It had everything that we needed and a great character and ambience!! The main streets nearby were so great for food (especially local and organic), specialty stores, local arts, crafts and trades, and second hand stores! It was so easy to get a taxi from the Main Street nearby but there are also frequent buses and it is not far from the big attractions of Kyoto. There are some temples very close to the house that we stumbled across which were quite stunning. The streets surrounding the house are like a labyrinth and walking through them was an outing in itself! We would definitely highly recommend this place especially for larger groups or families. We would definitely stay again!
The house was very comfortable and fit 5 people nicely. Toilet and shower were big enough which is more than I can say about other places I’ve stayed in Japan. Conveniently located 2 stops on the subway from Kyoto station and a quick walk after getting off the train. Host was very fast with responses and greeted us when we arrived.
